Sting
Sting is an exceptionally talented musician and storyteller and sometimes a bit of an enigma. I found him and his people incredibly warm and easy to work with especially his PR rep, Tracy Bufferd. But listening to what he has to say here, things may not have been as easy when he was touring with the Police.
Private Sessions
I loved producing A&E’s “Private Sessions”. How could I not when I got to book and produce musicians like Sting, Mary J Blige, Cyndi Lauper, Carly Simon and actors such as Dustin Hoffman, Michael Douglas, Sir Anthony Hopkins and so many more? Here’s a look at some of the highlights.
New York Now
This is a segment from a great local talk show I produced called “New York Now”. Once a week we would go out on location, all over New York City trying to find and talk about the best (and occasionally the worst) New York had to offer. The show was really loose and on the fly and co-hosts, Ray Ellin and Molly Pesce were perfect for that. Things didn’t always go as planned but we all laughed, went with the flow and made it work, no matter what. And I loved their rapport with our film critic, Brandon Judell.
